Please leave us a comment as soon as possible to let us know. We’d like to be more organized about scheduling this year. Let us know the topic/title and about how much time you will need (no longer than 1 hour). We especially encourage any group processes, activities, lectures, or workshops that would contribute to this year’s theme of “Creating a 3rd Dynamic.” There will also be some “open mic” time towards the end of Sunday, when anyone is welcome to speak for a brief period.

Open Letter to Independent Scientologists

Dear friends,

You are hereby invited to the 16th Annual FreeZone Convention and the 1st Theta Alliance Summit for Independent Scientologists. We’ve had a wonderful time and great success over the years putting on the FreeZone Convention since 2001. This year, however, we decided it was time to re-brand for the future and create a greater 3rd dynamic group going forward. We’re very excited to announce that beginning this year and continuing into the future, the convention will be known as the Theta Alliance Summit.

The Theta Alliance is a branch of FreeZone Worldwide dedicated to putting on the yearly summit and other events for the purpose of networking with Independent Scientologists and groups, with the ultimate goal of preserving and expanding the Tech. As always, all are welcome to attend or speak at the summit, and there is no obligation to join any kind of group in order to attend. We especially want to encourage representatives of independent groups out there to come and be heard. We’ll be discussing this change in greater detail at the summit, but in the meantime, please browse our site for more information or go to “Buy Pass” to purchase admission to this year’s summit.

We’re looking forward to seeing many of you at this year’s event and we’ll have some great speakers as well as a showing of an episode of Believer, a new show that featured myself and several other independents being interviewed about independent Scientology outside the Church. My hope is that this will provide a new, more positive perspective that is lacking representation in the media about Scientology and the Tech, and perhaps open some minds. The episode will debut on CNN on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 10 PM EST (see www.cnn.com/shows/believer for more info). We’ll send out more details as it gets closer to airing.
